Operations Manager - Block by Block
Bob Doyle joined the Downtown Boston BID in October of 2020 as the Operations Manager for the Ambassador program. He is responsible for daily coordination of the Cleaning, Hospitality, and Outreach Ambassador teams. His focus is on training, technology, and equipment deployment with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement.
Bob came to Boston in 2013 to help retool & revitalize the hospitality and special event program at The New England Aquarium. He has subsequently worked with the National Parks Service, Boston Harbor Cruises, and Delta Air Lines to reimagine how hospitality works within the tourism and transportation sectors. Bob brings strong team building and logistics expertise developed over the past 25 years managing both public and private shared spaces.
Bob has a B.S. in Soil Science from The University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a keen Bonsai practitioner, Jazz aficionado, and an accomplished home cook.
