Boston Fashion Week 2018 in Downtown Boston

The Downtown Boston BID and Boston Fashion Week are partnering for the fourth year to present BFW's Opening Night Party.

The Official Opening Night of Boston Fashion Week is on Sunday, Sept. 30th, 2018 at Exchange at 100 Federal Street. Doors open at 6 pm and the show starts at 7 pm.

"The Power of Women: The Future of Boston Fashion"

This evening focuses on the power of women in fashion and features a group of six professional designers who represent the future of Boston fashion both creatively and in business. 

The designers are:

Melina Cortes-Nmili of lalla bee

Gina deWolfe of deWolfe Leather Goods

Meghan Doyle of Tallulah and Poppy

Joelle Fontaine of I Am Kréyol

Graciela Rivas Leslin of Graciela Rivas Collection

Cecile Thieulin of Simone Simon Collection

Stylist Terri Mann, photographer Tracy Aiguier, and video production team Nicole O’Connor of Shanachie Studios and Eric Leone of Paul Horton Visuals will be coming together to create in-depth designer profiles and editorial imagery. The event will also include a series of fashion presentations.

GlamSlam will be on October 3rd from 7 to 9 pm

GlamSlam is a storytelling event hosted by the most glamorous funny person in Boston, Bethany VanDelft. The event allows local fashion professionals to share significant moments in their careers. GlamSlam speakers have tugged at our heartstrings, made us laugh, inspired us, and most importantly shown us how meaningful and rewarding the work we do can be. We’re looking forward to another powerful evening of fashion stories.
