Holiday Shopping Hours and Downtown Boston Holiday Market

The Downtown Boston Business Improvement District (BID) wants to keep you informed with updated information about this holiday season, including hours of operation for major retailers during this holiday season. Some businesses are open 24 hours a day, some are opening at 7 am, some are opening at regular hours. Downtown Boston Holiday Market 

The 7th annual Downtown Holiday Market is open at its new pop-up location at 459 Washington St. (former Tello's location). The Downtown Holiday Market is open 7 days a week from 11 am to 7 pm Monday through Saturday, and 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday. The market's last day is January 10th, 2015. NOTE: Google maps does not recognize 459 Washington St., Boston MA 02111 - but the market is definitely in Downtown Crossing in Downtown Boston!

Santa Claus will also be at the market everyday from noon to 2 pm through December 23rd. It is FREE to take a picture with Santa - just bring your own camera. Santa Claus will be at the market on weekends for an extra hour from 3 to 4 pm

B&B Glass Studio - Dec. 6th - Jan. 10th -  B & B Glass Studio captures whimsical designs in glass like a chicken on a swing!

Tico Art - Dec. 6th - Dec. 27th - Tico Art is an American/Costa Rican cooperative partnership created to share the spirit and beauty of the Ticos and their country with the rest of the world. Ticos and Americans work side by side designing and producing handcrafted decorative and functional items from Central American farm grown hardwoods.

Epoca Amber Jewelry - Nov. 28th - Dec. 5 and Dec. 16th - Jan. 10th - Fine jewelry made from amber, silver, semi-precious stones, coral, with a focus on amber.

NuraBella Jewelry - Dec. 16th - Dec. 27th - NuraBella Jewelry was founded nearly a decade ago by jewelry designer Nurit Niskala. Its wire-wrapping and metal smithed jewelry is 100% designed and made-by-hand in its Manchester, New Hampshire studio. 

Recycled Glass Jewelry - Nov. 28th - Jan. 10th - All the jewelry is handmade out of recycled glass. This is real glass that comes from windows and other more traditional sources. The glass is cut and assembled, then fired in a kiln to fuse round sharp edges and improve the colors and texture of the surface. When the glass fuses, each design becomes a unique creation due to the vitro-fusion process.

Ella Grace Jewelry Design - Dec. 6th - Dec. 27th -  Ella Grace creatse one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces hand crafted from sterling silver and natural semi-precious stones. All of the work is inspired by nature and the designs develop around the unusual cuts, colors and textures of the stones.

Karol Peralta Jewelry - Nov. 28th - Jan. 10th - Karol Peralta, founder of Karol Peralta Jewelry, creates simple pieces of jewelry for fashion forward women who are looking for artistically designed jewelry. She mainly uses Swarovski crystals.

Alex's Ugly Sauce - Nov. 28th - Dec. 27th - Alex's Ugly Sauce is the artisanal hot sauce you've been looking for! The sauces contain only the best all-natural ingredients available to create a unique combination of flavor and heat that adds a kick to your favorite dishes and complements their flavors without overwhelming them. 

McCrea's Candies - Dec. 6th - Dec. 27th -  Jason McCrea, a scientist with a background in chemistry, with an abiding appreciation for natural ingredients, is a man possessed by the single, simple idea to make the best caramel in the world—nothing less.

Golden Rule Honey - Nov. 28th - Jan. 10th - Golden Rule Honey is a honey business, which maintains a certified food production facility, where they package, distribute, and retail honey from treatment free beekeeping operations, and produce The Queen of Chocolate, a unique cocoa mix free of dairy products and sweetened only with honey.

Billy's Botanicals - Dec. 6th - Jan. 10th - Billy's Botanicals sells organic juices and salad dressings.

Mao Sim Silk - Nov. 28th - Jan. 10th - Mao Sim Silk sells silk items handmade in Cambodia including scarves, hats, bags, children mobiles, and more.
