The Bridal March Series in Downtown Boston Starts March 3rd
Platform Downtown will present a series of three wedding-themed events in March called “The Bridal March.” Each event will feature award-winning Boston area bridal vendors, including a wedding gown fashion show, panel discussions and more.
Following last year’s success of Platform Downtown during Boston Fashion Week, the Downtown Boston Business Improvement District is sponsoring a trio of bridal events curated by Terri Mahn, owner of thestylistcloset.
“The Bridal March series will encompass many details of wedding planning – photography, jewelry, hair and makeup, shoes, flowers and of course, the wedding dress!” said Mahn.
- “The Bridal March – Picture Perfect” is on Thursday, March 3rd, 2016, at the Old South Meeting House (310 Washington St.) from 6 to 8 pm. This is a panel discussion with bridal and special occasion designer David Josef, Best of Boston Magazine winner tailor and designer Alan Rouleau, and five-time Best of Boston Magazine winner photographer Cheryl Richards. Erica Corsano, Lifestyle Editor and Social Columnist for the Boston Herald, will be the moderator for this panel.
- “The Bridal March – Decorative Details” is on Thursday, March 10th, 2016, at the Old South Meeting House from 6 to 8 pm. This panel will be moderated by Danielle Duane of Boston Magazine’s Weddings.
