This winter has made it tougher to collect trash and recycling. The BID wants to provide you with information to make sure your trash and recycling is getting picked up, and that you know the correct day(s) for pickups.

Downtown, the Financial District, and the Leather District are all serviced by Sunrise Scavenger. Trash and recycling collection takes place on Monday and Friday. Please place trash and recycling out for collection no later than 7 am on scheduled day(s). While trash and recycling can be placed curbside as early as 5 pm on the preceding evening, the city urges you to place trash out in the morning to reduce the chances of spillage and scavenging.
