African-American Patriots Public Tours

The following is from the Freedom Trail Foundation website:

Tales of intrigue and bravery, poetry and defiance by black Bostonians unfold during this 90-minute walking tour of the Freedom Trail. Led by a costumed guide, visitors view history through the eyes of African-American revolutionaries such as Crispus Attucks, Phillis Wheatley, Prince Hall, Peter Salem, and others.

This 90-minute long tour is offered regularly twice a year. During February - Black History Month, the tour departs at 12:45 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays from the Boston Common Visitor Information Center.

Discounted online general admission tickets are good for this tour. Tickets can also be purchased at the Boston Common Visitor Information Center.

Private, corporate, and school groups can choose dates and departure times with the Freedom Trail Foundation office staff by email or call 617-357-8300. Please select Group & Private Tours or School Tours in the left hand column for more information.
