Art in the Round

How does a circle of friends influence the creation of works of art? Young participants will explore Thomas Buford Meteyard: Travels through Impressionism and think about the impact that working as part of an artistic community could have on one artist’s work. After taking inspiration from the exhibition gallery, each participant will create their own work of art—and then pass it on! By recreating each other's work, we'll consider what copying, collaborating, and sharing styles can offer to the development of an individual artistic voice.
