Family Game Day at King's Chapel Parish House

On Saturday, March 3rd, from 2PM to 4PM, you are invited to a community event at King’s Chapel.

King's Chapel will be hosting a family game day in their Parish House on 64 Beacon Street. Families and neighbors are free to join us as we set out game boards, place our pieces, eat some snacks, and enjoy each other’s company. A simple game of Checkers may seem a little old fashioned considering that all of us can download and play more advanced digital games on our phones. These devices, our phones, laptops, and TV screens, provide us with entertainment and convenience, but they can’t provide us with a human connection that allows us to know about and bond with our friends and family members. Our game day is a chance for all of us to put our screens aside and reconnect with those closest to us, maybe even connect with a few new friends. Join us for food, games, and fun, and don’t forget to leave your screen behind!
