Federalist Society Boston Chapter Issues Forum: Public Nuisance, Climate Change, and Municipal Litigation

In recent years, a series of lawsuits have been filed by cities and states against oil and gas companies, seeking to hold these companies liable for the effects of climate change. An engaging, expert panel will discuss litigation filed by cities and states against oil and gas companies regarding the effects of climate change, the legal theories underlying these lawsuits, and recent developments in some of the jurisdictions where they have been filed.
