The artists of SoWa Artists Guild in the SoWa Art and Design District in Boston’s South End will participate in the annual SoWa ArtWalk at 450 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA on Saturday & Sunday May 5 – 6, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM. SoWa First Friday will kick-off the weekend on Friday May 4, 2018 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM. SoWa First Friday and SoWa ArtWalk are free and open to the public. SoWa ArtWalk is one of only two times a year when ALL artists’ studios at 450 Harrison Ave. open their doors and welcome the public. The SoWa Art + Design District is home to the largest community of working artists in New England. SoWa ArtWalk / SoWa First Friday event is a fun and enlightening self-guided tour that brings visitors to the studios of more than 100 artists to meet and speak with the people who make the art. SoWa ArtWalk / SoWa First Friday is an opportunity for art enthusiasts, collectors, dealers and the curious to see, experience and purchase art directly from the artists--- paintings, photography, sculpture, fiber arts and hand-made jewelry. SoWa ArtWalk/ SoWa First Friday is free and open to the public. Artists’ studios are located at 450 Harrison Ave. Parking is available. SoWa is located only a few blocks from both I-93 & I-90. For driving directions, set your GPS to 450 Harrison Ave., or to our parking lot at 365 Albany St., where we offer customers 90 minutes free parking, Monday-Saturday. MBTA options: Orange line to either Back Bay Station or Tufts Med.
