'Play Me, I'm Yours' Street Pianos Boston Festival

The Celebrity Series of Boston's "Play Me, I'm Yours" Street Piano Boston Festival will take place throughout Boston September 23rd to October 10th. This year there will be two pianos in the BID: one in Downtown Crossing outside of Macy's on Summer Street, and one at Reader's Park at Washington and School streets.

Street Pianos Boston is the return engagement of the popular art installation Play Me, I’m Yours, created by artist Luke Jerram and first presented in Boston by Celebrity Series in 2013, when over 500,000 people played and listened to music with their neighbors.

This year, 60 pianos painted by local artists and community groups will be placed in outdoor spaces in every Boston neighborhood for the public to play and enjoy. Since 2008, Play Me, I’m Yours has been installed in more than 50 cities and reached more than 10 million people globally.
