245th Anniversary Boston Tea Party Reenactment

Presented by Old South Meeting House and the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum Relive the event that changed American history forever- the Boston Tea Party- in the same place where it all began 245 years ago. Join Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, and John Hancock for a fiery debate about the tea tax. Then, follow the Sons of Liberty on a march to the tea ships in Boston Harbor to make salt-water tea. 

 Schedule of Events:
  • 6:30 p.m. "The Body of the People" Meeting begins inside of Old South Meeting House (ticketed event)
  • 6:30 p.m. "Friends! Brethren! Countrymen!" (Free & outside Old South Meeting House) Join the crowds outside and hear from a Town Crier and the women of Colonial Boston as they discuss news of the tea crisis. (Outside performance; free to the public)
  • 7:30 p.m. "Huzzah for Griffin's Wharf" Parade through the Financial District of Boston down to the Waterfront (free to the public).
  • 8:00 p.m. "Destruction of the Tea" at Atlantic Wharf and the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum® (reserved seats for ticket holders plus free seating for the public).
