"The Manchurian Candidate" (Modern Theatre)

The Modern Theatre at Suffolk University, in collaboration with the Boston Preservation Alliance, will screen this 1962 classic film, adapted from Richard Condon’s novel by George Axelrod, directed by John Frankenheimer, featuring Frank Sinatra, Laurence Harvey, Janet Leigh and Angela Lansbury. On the 50th anniversary of its release and during the election year of 2012, the political and psychological thriller The Manchurian Candidate still resonates for contemporary audiences.
