The adventure begins when PETER PAN and his mischievous sidekick\, Tinker Bell\, visit the bedroom of the Darling children late one night. With a sprinkle of fairy dust and a few happy thoughts\, the children are taken on a magical journey they will never forget. DESCRIPTION:Boston Ballet proudly presents the return of Mikko Nissinen’s The Nutcracker. The critically-acclaimed production features dynamic choreography that showcases the talent of the world-class Company\, stunning sets and costumes by award-winning designer Robert Perdziola\, and the renowned score by Tchaikovsky performed live by the Boston Ballet Orchestra. The Nutcracker opens November 29 with performances through December 29 at the Citizens Opera House. PNC Bank is the presenting sponsor of Mikko Nissinen’s The Nutcracker. \nThe Nutcracker features the full Company\, Boston Ballet II dancers\, and Boston Ballet School students. The 44-performance run will feature many dancer debuts in new roles\, showcasing the vast talent within the Company and providing many opportunities for dancers to shine in various roles.
