We are grateful to be living in downtown Boston and have loved every minute of raising our son and newborn daughter here."

Rishi Shukla and his wife Anita moved into the Downtown Crossing area in 2013 and quickly fell in love with the locale.

"Downtown Boston offered the perfect combination of location, culture, history and vibrancy. The idea of being within walking distance of the nation's oldest park, theaters, restaurants, coffee shops, fitness clubs, a grocery store and our son's school, in one of Boston's fastest growing neighborhoods, was and remains incredibly attractive," said Rishi. He added the five-minute drive to Logan International Airport, and being a quick walk to South Station for early morning business trips has been a great perk, too.

The Shuklas are also one of the many young families, who have moved into downtown Boston in recent years. As more and more families have moved into the area their community has grown. He added that along with enjoying the local green space like the Boston Common, his son enjoys watching all the cranes and trucks working on the various development projects.

"More and more young families are moving to downtown and many of our children are now classmates and friends," said Rishi. "it has made for a wonderful experience. We are grateful to be living in downtown Boston have loved every minute of raising our son and newborn daughter here. We look forward to many more great years ahead in Boston's most dynamic neighborhood."

Rishi is also a leader for the downtown Boston residential community as a founding member of the Downtown Boston Residents' Association, which was formed in 2014. The association has quickly grown to more than 450 members and is committed to engaging, informing and empowering residents by creating a forum for discussion on a wide range of topics.
