We present to you BOUNCERS, by John Godber, among the most frequently produced plays in the UK, and named by the National Theatre as one of the “Plays of the Century”. It’s a fast-paced romp dramatizing the escapades of young lads and lasses at a hard drinking disco where “there’s sex in the air, and the hunt is on”. Four bouncers endeavor to illustrate the madness of the throngs that converge on the discoteque — embodying a whirlwind of characters, male and female — in the pulsating debauchery of a typical Friday night.
