Fisher is an award-winning science communicator and chief meteorologist for Boston’s WBZ-TV News. The 20-year veteran of broadcast television and author will explain how he interprets large amounts of complex data to deliver weather predictions that aim to inform, entertain, and in cases of extreme weather, prompt action to preserve lives and property. He will also share what resonates with viewers and offer insights into how WBZ-TV forecasts and tracks weather.
