From the return of outdoor markets and live music to the arrival of innovative companies and exciting new retailers, Downtown is reinforcing its position as a destination for business, culture, and community.
One standout this month: Lovable AI’s opening at 1 Lincoln Street, highlighting Downtown’s growing role in Greater Boston’s innovation ecosystem ahead of Boston Tech Week. Meanwhile, Uniqlo’s debut in Downtown Crossing marks another major retail investment, bringing new energy and foot traffic to the neighborhood.
The momentum is reflected in the numbers, too:
- 3.9% year-over-year pedestrian growth
- 16.5% increase in MBTA ridership
- 1.1 million square feet represented across 16 conversion and redevelopment projects
