Boston Harborfest Kickoff Celebration
Join us as we launch Boston Harborfest 2025 with a vibrant celebration of patriotism, pageantry, and history on Wednesday, July 2nd!
The festivities begin at 11:40 a.m. with a rousing pre-ceremony performance by the Middlesex County Fife & Drum Corps. At 12:00 p.m., official remarks kick off with Michael Nichols, President of the Downtown Boston Alliance, followed by Martha Sheridan from Meet Boston leading the presentation of colors.
Featured speakers include Mayor Michelle Wu, City Council President Ruthzee Louijeune, City Councilor Ed Flynn, and esteemed military representatives from the USS Donald Cook, USS Constitution, and the U.S. Coast Guard.
A special appearance by David Clay, Deputy Consul General of the British Consulate, brings greetings from the United Kingdom.
Don’t miss the ceremonial cake-cutting finale with the sword from the Commander of the USS Constitution at 12:40 p.m. Free Cake for ALL!!
