Meet Stylist Taylor Greeley at Boston Fashion Week’s 'What Would Coco Wear?
Taylor Greeley’s love for fashion and style developed at an early age from her mother and godmother, who were very savvy bargain hunters! As a child she would spend countless hours arranging jewelry in her aunt's store and would accompany her mother on weekend yard sale trips.
When she started high school she got the opportunity to enroll in the Fashion/Interior Design Program at her school, this was the start of her creative career.
In 2010, Taylor got her certificate for staging and interior decoration and has since developed a career as a stylist with experience in merchandising, buying, home staging, decorating as well as prop and wardrobe styling. See what Blogger Elissa Garza at Style Wire had to say about this ‘Wired Woman’ here!
In honor of Boston Fashion Week (9/23-9/30) Taylor has given us her top 3 fashion trends for fall/winter 2016.
1) 70's inspired color palettes and fabrics like velvet, corduroy, tweed and suede
2) Bomber jackets and embellishments on jackets
3) Over-sized layering pieces, like long vests and dresses
When asked what sets her apart from other stylists she said,
-
Combining vintage and current styles
-
Using one-of-a-kind thrift pieces that speak to her
-
Entire styling from interiors, props to wardrobe and accessories
-
Her motto is "life is balance"-- She likes to implement that into her styling
