National Boston Cream Pie Day

On Wednesday, October 23rd -  Celebrate Where It All Began . . .

. . . At the Omni Parker House, of course! The hotel, which famously began serving the dish more than 150 years ago, is celebrating National Boston Cream Pie Day, which is this Wednesday, by giving away one free slice of Boston Cream Pie for every adult entree purchased during either lunch or dinner at Parker's Restaurant or Parker's Bar.

BONUS TRIVA: the Boston Cream Pie is the official state dessert of Massachusetts! It was designated so in 1996, after beating out the Fig Newton, Indian pudding, and the Toll House cookie, among other nominations.
