49th Walk for Hunger & 5K Run

Hunger is silent. So we speak up! Join tens of thousands of your neighbors in the 20-mile tradition of walking to end hunger in Massachusetts. There are nearly 675,000 individuals in our state that are affected by hunger. Money raised by Walk participants supports more than 300 critical programs in nearly 100 communities that protect people from hunger and strengthen our local food systems. The Walk route weaves through Boston, Brookline, Newton, Watertown, and Cambridge. Is running more your speed? Register for the 2nd annual Walk for Hunger 5K Run, starting on the Boston Common. Early registration fee is $30 until March 31. There is no fundraising minimum, and participants do NOT need to walk all 20 miles to participate. Whether you run or walk one mile or all 20, register and donate today at www.projectbread.org/walk, because Good Food is a Basic Right! If you or someone you know is struggling to put food on the table, please call Project Bread’s FoodSource Hotline at 1-800-645-8333.
