Is Relationship-Centered Design Next?

At this Design Museum Mornings there will be talk about relationship-centered design. We have evolved our thinking from designing for utility, to designing for a user, to designing for humans. Could design for relationships be the next step in this evolution? Much of our design effort supports relationships or leverages connections to achieve design goals. Yet we currently approach this work focused on a customer, a user, ultimately a human. Consider the power of relationships, and how we might approach our work when exploring the types, stages, and goals of these connections at August's Design Museum Mornings, August 25.
