JFK Centennial: A Day in the Life of an American Historic Figure

One-Day UVA Presents A Day-Long, In-Depth Look at John F. Kennedy’s Family, Presidency and Legacy in Observance of His 100th Birthday! Join us for this unique opportunity to hear from world-renowned University of Virginia scholar, Professor Barbara Perry of UVA’s Miller Center. Ms. Perry specializes in the study of presidential scholarship, public policy and political history. She will lead a special program in Boston, MA, observing JFK’s 100th birthday. This exciting day includes lectures by a notable presidential scholar, intimate discussions with special guests Victoria Kennedy and Paul Kirk, a tour of the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, a tour of the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate, continental breakfast during registration, afternoon coffee break and a New England lunch.
