Taste of Haymarket

Go behind the scenes of Boston's Haymarket during this one-of-a-kind tour, perfect for market regulars and newcomers, tourists and locals. Each Friday and Saturday from dawn to dusk, Boston's centuries-old open air market, adjacent to Government Center, the North End, and Faneuil Hall, offers a unique shopping experience. Today vendors sell huge varieties of fruits and vegetables at great prices from open wooden stands with nearby specialty grocers offering cheese, fish, Halal meats, pizza, spices, and other delicacies. Discover the history of Haymarket, hear from the president of the Haymarket Pushcart Association, and learn why it's an unbeatable Boston shopping experience.
