Nestled On Spring Lane, Commonwealth Books Is A Bibliophile's Delight

Conveniently located in Downtown Crossing in Boston, at the corner of Washington and Spring Lane, Commonwealth Books is a one-minute walk from Old South Meeting House. The store is also situated on Downtown's legendary Freedom Trail and is adjacent to the State Street subway stop.

The store offers 40,000+ select titles, from medieval manuscript leaves to recent mysteries. It also features extensive holdings in art monographs, decorative arts, poetry, history, and literature, among others. The antiquarian selection is quite strong. Commonwealth Books also offer bins of old prints and engravings ranging from the 1600s to the 1940s.
